LOS ANGELES (August 9, 2021) - The Sentinels are pleased to announce a partnership with streaming capture app Medal.tv, along with $25,000 in prizes to be awarded across four viewer-submission contests beginning Aug. 10.

Team captain Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan of the championship-studded Sentinels VALORANT roster will kick off the first of four contests. Running from Aug. 10-19th, fans can use Medal to capture their most reactionary clips to post to the clip-capturing platform with the hashtag “#Shahz5k.”

Finalists will be judged live on ShahZaM’s Twitch stream Friday, Aug. 20th where five lucky winners will then be selected to win a $1,000 prize each.

All five members of the Sentinels VALORANT roster will have partnered contests with Medal over the next two months, with each of the contests being themed around the player’s personalities.

The Sentinels are excited to share more details about future contests at a later date. Be sure to stay tuned across our social media platforms for the latest information about viewer submission periods!

"Working with Medal.tv is a great collaboration for both sides that allows us to reward fans with cash prizes and recognition from their favorite VALORANT superstars," said Sentinels CEO Rob Moore. "We are excited for the several successful activations to come, and to welcome Medal.tv to the Sentinels family."

Fans can not only submit VALORANT highlights for the opening #Shahz5k contest to Sentinels, but they also have the ability to clip, edit and share straight to social media all within the Medal platform. With intuitive design and easy to understand steps, fans can be the creators of their own content to share with friends and family.

“VALORANT is one of the fastest growing games on Medal, with over 200,000 clips uploaded daily,” says Yuriy Yarovoy, Director of Growth and Partnerships at Medal.tv. “We are excited to partner with the best VALORANT team coming off of their huge VCT win in Iceland and are excited to see the clips Sentinels fans submit for the contests.”
